Ashton VSG Eclipse Tube

I picked this Ashton VSG up in a sampler at a great price. You can find these online at Famous Smoke Shop as a single for $12.85 each.

Since this was a tube cigar I expected it to be in great shape. It came with a super oily maduro colored, toothy, wrapper that was practically vein free.

From the foot there are notes of nutmeg, cedar and coffee, while the free cold draw had a light hint of spicy cedar mixed with coffee. Once the medium body cigar was on fire, it roared with bold flavors of coffee, earth and spicy cedar. Further on there were flavors of cream, leather, oak, earth and cocoa, with a creamy chocolate finish.

With one exception (the burn need correction twice), this was a fantastic cigar. It had a great flavor mix, a fantastic wrapper and finished with full body and full flavor.
