San Francisco Bay French Roast Coffee

For this review of San Francisco Bay, French Roast Coffee, I brewed it using the auto-drip method. 

From the freshly opened bag there were deep, rich notes of earth, cocoa and coffee that bloomed into the room. 

Once the whole beans were ground and water was introduced, the coffee produced an aroma of ripe plums with a hint of cocoa. 

From the cup the French Roast coffee produced a clean cup, with a medium bodied, silky smooth and balanced mouthfeel. There were bold flavors of toast, nuts, and cocoa with a lingering cocoa aftertaste on the palate. 

This coffee came in a 3 Lb. bag from Costco and for a big chain item, it produced a nice cup.
